Sophie is a Collections Assistant (Stores Move) at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Her research interests include Classical Reception and the archaeology of Roman Britain. Her doctoral work, undertaken in the Faculty of Classics (University of Cambridge), investigated nineteenth-century responses to the discovery of London’s Roman past. Before coming to MAA, Sophie worked at the Museum of Classical Archaeology and spent a summer as a site guide at Vindolanda Roman fort.
