Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

 

MAA aims to provide the widest possible access to collections to members of communities represented in the collections, to the public, and to students and researchers.

Our online catalogue can be accessed here.

Researchers, students, members of interested communities and the public may use images and data from the collections for academic, educational and creative purposes under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

Please note however that permission generally needs to be obtained from copyright holders for works by living or recently deceased artists, makers and photographers.

Please note that staff cannot in general respond to enquiries about objects which are not in our collections. We are not permitted to provide valuations, nor is it possible to leave objects at the Museum for identification.
