Kirsty Kernohan (PhD) is Assistant Coordinator for the Stores Move, working to plan and coordinate the movement of collections from MAA’s off-site stores to the new Centre for Material Culture.
Her doctoral research focused on intergenerational colonial collecting practices amongst aristocratic families and the lasting relationships between their collections and contemporary communities. She has also worked with photographic collections at Dumfries Museum and MAA.
