Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

 

Heather Donoghue (PhD, FRAI) is a museum practitioner and art historian specialising in Melanesian material culture and the history of museum collections. She has carried out research in Papua New Guinea and is in receipt of an Arts and Humanities Visiting Research Fellowship (2022-2023) at the University of East Anglia.

She has contributed to several collections and documentation projects in anthropology, archaeology and photography, most notably at MAA. In her current role she is documenting, photographing and packing collections at MAA’s off-site stores, ready for the move to the new Centre for Material Culture.
