About the event
A concert of music played on the bronze gongs and metallophones of Indonesia. The Cambridge Gamelan Society will perform music on the Javanese gamelan gadhon, a rich and soft-sounding chamber ensemble. The programme will include classic vocal and instrumental works from the traditional Central Javanese repertoire. The Gamelan Society is a student/community ensemble dedicated to the performance of traditional and contemporary gamelan compositions.
