About
Join us for an evening celebrating our new exhibition 'Moving Objects: Stories from Behind the Scenes at the Museum’, alongside the opening of an exciting co-curated reimagining of the museum's African collections developed through the Rethinking Relationships project.
The evening celebrates the work of the project's co-curators and collaborators, bringing together conversation, creativity, and performance. Hear from artist Alison Hunte, enjoy a live poetry performance by X-Lee Poetry, and take part in hands-on creative activities inspired by the exhibitions. The galleries will be open throughout the evening offering opportunities to explore the displays, meet others, and celebrate exciting new collaborations at the museum, with drinks available to purchase at the bar.
This is a free event but booking is essential.
