Venue Hire – Andrews Gallery

On the second floor, the Andrews Gallery is dedicated to world archaeology. The newly refurbished displays house some of our oldest objects, including stone chopping tools from Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania, which are thought to be over 1.8 million years old.


You can see:

  • The Mesolithic Star Carr headress made from the skull of a red deer and found in Yorkshire
  • Objects from ancient Egypt, India, China, Europe and the Middle East


Ideal for:

  • Wine and canap√© receptions
  • Combining with the Maudsley Gallery for larger events
