This web exhibition was created as part of the 'Enabling Diversity: Extending Collections Information with Arctic Communities' project and the Archaeological Heritage and Museums (2006-2007) graduate programme. It also draws on research from MAA's extensive photographic collection, supported by the Getty Grant Program.
Produced by: Carl Hogsden and Imogen Gunn.
Student Researchers: Victoria Blennerhassett, Emily Lanza, Tera Pruitt and Jesse Van Hoy.
The website was produced with the support of Museum staff, including: Robin Boast (Senior Curator), Jon Dawson (Senior Computing Technician), Jocelyne Dudding (Getty Research Associate), Mark Elliott (Curator), Rachel Hand (Curatorial Assistant for Anthropology), Sarah-Jane Harknett (Outreach Officer), Anita Herle (Senior Curator), Anne Taylor (Curatorial Assistant for Archaeology).
The website was also developed in collaboration with the staff at the Scott Polar Research Institute, including: Naomi Boneham (Archives Assistant), Michael Bravo (Fellow at Downing College), Lucy Martin (Picture Library Manager).
The Student Researchers would particularly like to thank the Dalgety family for allowing them to use Christopher Dalgety's journal from the 1934 Wordie Expedition.
