It’s the first weekend of half term and The Campsite has pitched up in Cambridge to celebrate in style. Join us at Christ’s Pieces (the Green between Grafton Centre and Downing Street bus station) and find a pop-up collection of performances and activities created by artists in collaboration with each of the University’s museums and the Botanic Garden.

You might hop inside a vintage campervan to hear a story, you might help to map the earth reduced down to the size of a tiny tent, perhaps you’ll squeeze into a 1980s caravan with six others and discover you’re in a mini live music concert, or you may just relax, enjoy a cup of tea and play some camping games.

The Campsite is a pop-up venue: a collection of vintage campervans, caravans and tents, all of which become tiny venues for theatre, music gigs, poetry, film and art installations.

University of Cambridge Museums is pleased to support this Campsite project through public funding from Arts Council England.
