Unfortunately MAA staff are no longer able to identify objects, nor can we provide valuations.
If you have an archeological item that you believe to be over 300 years old – found in England or Wales, it may be identified and recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme. You can contact Helen Fowler at their Cambridge office at Shire Hall. Some finds may fall under the Treasure Act 1996 and so legally must be reported. Further details can be found on the Scheme’s website.
