Day of the Dead 2015

Friday 30 October 11 am – 4 pm
Saturday 31 October 11 am – 4 pm
Sunday 1 November 12 noon – 4 pm
Take part in The Day of the Dead celebrations by helping the Museum and Cambridge Mexican Society build an altar. We will decorate our altar with offerings (ofrendas) consisting of flowers, candles, sugar skulls, and much more. For Mexicans everywhere, the Day of the Dead is a time for remembering relatives, friends and ancestors in a lighter way, with the emphasis on laughter and music, rather than sorrow and fear.

Free, drop-in crafts aimed at all ages. Booking not required
