Creative Writing Course

Run by Sophie Smiley

The richness, quirkiness and delights of the museum will provide the group with inspiration for creative writing over five sessions. Each session will comprise of two or three different writing exercises, often using objects in the museum as the starting point. There will even be some opportunities to handle the artefacts.

This course is suitable for novices and experienced writers alike; the aim is to create a friendly, supportive group in which everyone has fun laying down words and trying out different voices.

Each session takes place from 11.45am – 1.45pm on the following dates:

Saturday 16 January
Saturday 30 January
Saturday 13 February
Saturday 5 March
Saturday 19 March

Cost: £40 (£25 concessions) for the full course or £10 (£7 concessions) for individual classes

Please contact Liz Haslemere at the museum on eh268@cam.ac.uk or call 01223 333516 to book your place.
