The Museum welcomes school groups of all ages and offers a series of gallery-based taught sessions that draw on unique collections spanning a variety of cultures from around the world. All taught sessions support the National Curriculum and are tailored to specific key stages (Key Stage one, Key stage two, Key Stage three and Post-16). By using objects at the heart of their learning, students will obtain transferable skills, acquire new knowledge and become curious and inspired about their topic.
Please book ahead to make sure you make the most out of your visit. To book a visit or discuss your needs please email firstname.lastname@example.org. On weekdays the Museum is open Tuesday-Friday 10.30-16.30. Entrance to the museum and all taught sessions are free of charge, but we do welcome donations. Our recommended donation is £2 per pupil, which includes a Museum Teacher and resources.
