Andrews Gallery: Archaeology

andrews_460x290On the second floor, the Andrews Gallery is dedicated to world archaeology. Displays change frequently and highlight the breadth of the Museum’s collection.

Highlights include:

  • A display of metal work from Benin City, Nigeria
  • Important material from predynastic Egypt
  • Displays on the Maya, with a cast of a large monumental stele
  • Objects from ancient Egypt, India, China, and the Middle East
