Join the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology for a day-long family festival both inside and outside the Museum this summer.

India, Empire and Colonial Collecting

This gallery-taught, discussion based, session will introduce students to ‘indigenous’ tribal communities in India and explore their complex relationship with Britain during the empire. Using handling objects students will question colonial collection practices and look into how modern day collecting

Jenny Williams: Education and Outreach Assistant

Jenny Williams (BA) has a background in History, Theatre, Education and Community Arts. She coordinates and delivers educational sessions and events for schools, families and community groups both in the museum and off-site.
